Shelby Farms Dog Park

While my mom and dad are out of town, I am keeping our family dog Rinkles. Rinkles is almost 10 years old but is still playful! Since she is used to getting to roam around on my parents land, she was getting pretty ancy all cooped up in mine and Brandon's tiny apartment. So I decided to take her and Opal to the Shelby Farms Dog Park...and they had a blast! Rinkles and Opal ran and played until they were just exhausted! I had fun too; I love watching the dogs play and get all their energy out! They slept really great that night!

The Newlywed’s Prayer

Lord watch over us as we venture into uncharted seas.
Protect and guide us to live in Your glory and be an example of Your love.
Watch over our families that have become one through our union.

Give us the patience and understanding to weather the storms that test every alliance.
Be our shelter when we are homelessand our compass when we have lost our way.
Lord let us always be forever grateful for the gifts You have bestowed upon us.
So that never a day goes by that we take for granted the love we share now.

And let the everlasting love we will share together always fill our hearts.

Brussels Griffons

Brussels Griffons are great dogs. They are a toy breed and generally weight 8-12 pounds. They have human-like expressions and are very caring and sensitive dogs. They come in two coats, a smooth coat like a Pug or a Boxer and a rough coat like a Schnauzer. The most distinguishing feature of this breed is the face. They have a short muzzle with the nose placed high between the eyes. The eyes are large and appealing and the nose and face is almost flat. Many people see the dog's expression as almost human while others think he looks monkey-like. One of the cutest things about them is their long skinny legs!

Our Brussels Griffon
Opal

Opal is our one year old rough coat Brussels Griffon. She is the best puppy we could have ever asked for. She is so sweet, loving, funny and playful. She does something that makes us laugh everyday!

~Honeymoon~

Brandon and I had the best time on our honeymoon! We took a cruise of the Western Caribbean! We stopped in Cozumel Mexico, Georgetown Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay Jamaica! We had the time of our lives and are so thankful that we were able to take such an amazing trip!

Our Wedding

Brandon and I were married on March 28, 2009. We had an outdoor wedding at Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello, AR. The cold and windy weather tested us all and I am so thankful for how cooperative everyone was. All of the chairs at the ceremony were full and there were even people standing. The wedding party never complained and my friends and family were amazing. Thanks to everyone who came and shared our special day with us. The reception was at the Country Club and was a ton of fun!
